Geneviève Lacelle
With a maternal instinct with thousand of talents, Geneviève is a creative woman with a lot of guts! Determined and ambitious, perseverance is her greatest strength. Whatever the problem, she’ll always find a solution.
Myrianne Lacelle
A lover of nature and animals, Myrianne knows what she wants and has the strength to follow through on her dreams. Always ready to surpass herself, she goes for it and always learns more. She’s engaging, funny and full of ideas. Everyone loves to be in her presence!
Diane Aubin and Jean-Guy Lacelle
Two beautiful human beings with their hearts in their hands, Jean-Guy and Diane are more than determined. Hand in hand, they have passionately realized all their dreams. Together, they form an inseparable team. Thanks to them, the adventure continues!
Our Story
The story of Ferme La Rose Des Vents began when Jean-Guy and Diane, both passionate about agriculture, decided to take over the Lacelle family’s paternal farm. Initially, the farm was largely a dairy operation, with a small production of grain-fed chickens for family and friends on the side.
The arrival of the next generation
In 2004, Geneviève completed her studies and returned to her native region with a diploma in butchery and cookery. Her vision: to prioritize poultry production. Construction of the butcher shop then began.
For her part, Myrianne, who had always dreamed of taking over the farm, chose to become part of the family business, bringing her dynamism and ideas to the table.

Now producers and processors of grain-fed chickens, the owners of Ferme La Rose Des Vents are proud to offer quality products, recognized in various regions of Quebec, including the Laurentians, Abitibi, Outaouais and Montreal. We now deliver to many of the province’s restaurants, retailers and delicatessens!

Our chicken
Our breeding
Our chicks are welcomed from their first day of life, and we carefully nurture them until they reach maturity, 45 days later.
Plant-based feed, free of animal by-products
Our feed is a recipe specially developed for our farm, made from 100% vegetable grains, with no animal by-products, hormones or medications added. Over the years, we’ve perfected this recipe while preserving the farm’s traditional method, until we’ve achieved a tasty, juicy meat of superior quality.
Free-range
Our breeding facilities are vast spaces where our chickens are free to roam as they please on a comfortable wood litter, in an environment controlled by employees who care about animal welfare.
Poultry slaughterhouse
We have our own certified poultry slaughterhouse. A veterinarian and a MAPAQ health inspector are present at each slaughter. We carry out this operation with rigor and professionalism.
Slaughter proximity
The proximity of our henhouse to our slaughterhouse is ideal, so we avoid the stress of transporting poultry and the risk of problems linked to temperature variations.
On-site processing
Our products are cut and processed on site, in our butcher shop and C1 kitchen (MAPAQ processing permit). Our facilities are designed to respect the cold chain all the way to your favorite store!
