Ground chicken patties with fresh herbs
You’ll need
- 454 g ground chicken
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander (optional)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Mix ingredients
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, coriander, paprika, salt and pepper.
- Mix well until smooth.
- Use your hands to form palm-sized patties.
If the mixture is a little sticky, you can moisten your hands.
Cooking
Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
* Serve hot with a salad, sautéed vegetables or in a hamburger bun for a complete meal.
