Roasted chicken drumsticks with garlic and lemon
You’ll need
- 1 kg chicken drumsticks
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon herbes de Provence (or oregano)
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400° F)
- Preparing the marinade :
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, herbes de Provence, salt and pepper.
- Marinade the drumsticks:
Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and mix well to coat them completely with the marinade. Leave to marinate for about 10-15 minutes while the oven heats up, or marinate for a whole day.
Cooking
Place the drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the drumsticks are golden brown and crisp.
