Roasted chicken thighs with honey and herbs
You’ll need
- 4 chicken thighs
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon (optional)
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400° F)
- Preparing the marinade :
- In a large bowl, combine the honey, olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
- Marinade the thighs:
Place the chicken thighs in an ovenproof dish. Pour the marinade over the thighs and coat well. You can leave them to marinate for around 15 to 30 minutes.
Cooking
Arrange the thighs in a dish, making sure they don’t overlap. If you like, you can add lemon wedges around the thighs for extra flavor. Place in the oven and bake for approximately 35 to 45 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through (the internal temperature should reach the

For an even more intense taste, you can add a few red pepper flakes to the marinade for a spicy touch.
